"東萊博議，宋代呂祖謙所撰，全名為東萊左氏博議，是取春秋左氏傳中史實予以評論，主要是指導諸生課試之文，「思有以佐其筆端」而寫的史論著作。

本書除了有助於開拓讀史傳之視野外，於謀篇立意、行文技巧等更足資借鑑。此書隨科舉考試而廣為流傳，到今日仍是指導議論文作法的絕佳教材。

呂祖謙（西元1137-1181年），字伯恭，宋壽州人，生於高宗紹興七年，卒於孝宗淳熙八年，享年四十五歲。他的祖父呂好問，曾封為東萊郡候，所以當時稱他家為東萊呂氏，故此左氏博議冠以東萊二字為代表。全書凡二十五卷，後來他的門人張招曾加以輯注，簡稱東萊博議。"
